A simple guide to the main steps, requirements, and choices international students should know before starting their academic path in Spain.
1. Understand your study options
Spain offers different academic paths depending on your background, language level, and goals. Hablo offers Spanish Foundation, Pathway / PCE Preparation, SEAMIC and seven specialist Masters programmes. Graduates and professionals can explore postgraduate options alongside routes for students beginning their university journey.
2. Check the language requirements
Some programmes require Spanish, while others offer English-taught study. English options are available for the Marketing Management and Digital Business Masters; confirm the intake and language requirements with Hablo before applying. Your current language level helps determine the most suitable route.
3. Know what preparation you may need
Depending on your academic background, you may need Spanish preparation or support with undergraduate university access, including PCE exams. Masters have their own entry requirements based on the programme and your previous studies or professional background; PCE preparation is not the default postgraduate route.
4. Prepare your documents and next steps
A clear process helps you understand which documents are needed, when to apply, and how to move from interest to action.
5. Choose the right support path
The best path depends on your level and goals. Some students need a language base or structured academic preparation; others are ready for a degree programme or specialist Masters study. Hablo can help you identify the relevant programme and check its requirements, while admission remains subject to the university’s assessment.
