What are PCE exams?

A simple explanation of PCE exams, who may need them, and how they can fit into the process of university access in Spain.

1. PCE exams are part of university access for some students

Depending on your background and the program you want to apply for, PCE exams may be part of the preparation process for Spanish university admission.

2. They are not relevant for every student

PCE preparation concerns undergraduate university access and is not the default route for postgraduate applicants. If you are considering one of Hablo's Masters programmes, ask about its specific academic and language requirements instead.

3. Preparation is important

Students who need PCE exams usually benefit from structured academic support, clear expectations, and a realistic preparation process.

4. They fit into a bigger process

PCE exams are only one part of a broader academic path that may also include language preparation, document planning, and access guidance.

5. Clarity reduces stress

The process feels much more manageable when students understand early whether PCE exams apply to them and what the next steps look like.
